Between 12:30 and 13:00 the team arrived at the business square just across the street at the Olympic stadium. At that time, some of the ING Runners who did the marathon were also there to wish us success! It was a little chaotic and busy at the clothing drop off, but we managed to get at least most of us on the group picture before we heeded to the starting area. The weather conditions and the crowd was amazing during this special edition (celebrating 50 years!) and we all enjoyed the race and finish in the Olympic stadium. The finish is a very nice and special experience in such an historic place. And of course, always nice to be cheered by other ING colleagues along the route, especially if your pace is going down a bit. The business square was quieter afterwards and the clothing pick up went smooth. After a drink we went home for a fresh shower and a relaxing afternoon and evening.
