Sloterplasrun 10 km

Verslag Sloterplasloop 2026

On Sunday 11th October, six ING Runners, including no fewer than three Marcos 🤣, took part in the 10 km Sloterplasloop in Amsterdam. The scenic route around the lake and the initially cloudy but dry weather provided a great setting for the race.

Unfortunately, that did not last. Just as the race started, the weather took a dramatic turn and heavy rain left everyone completely soaked by the finish.

Despite the challenging conditions, the team spirit remained strong, and all six ING Runners successfully crossed the finish line, with Marco Israël leading the ING group in an impressive time of 45:21.

Overall, it was a memorable edition of the Sloterplasloop, with a beautiful course and strong performances from all six runners.

Looking ahead, there is little time to dry the running shoes, as we will already be back in action at the Amsterdam Marathon next weekend.

Congratulations to our Sloterplasloop runners and good luck to everyone participating in the Amsterdam Marathon weekend!
