After gathering at the starting area of the Gaasperplasrun, our team joined hundreds of runners despite the intense heat. Due to the high temperatures, the organizers adjusted the race distance to 8.5 kilometers, but this did not affect the enthusiasm on the day. The course took us through the green surroundings around the lake, offering a surprisingly fresh and pleasant running experience. Along the route, runners encouraged each other and spectators created a warm, supportive atmosphere. Despite the challenging weather conditions, everyone stayed positive and kept going. In the end, all of us successfully crossed the finish line, making it a memorable experience filled with energy, teamwork, and a strong sense of achievement.
