A great group of six colleagues took part in the Nescioloop in Amsterdam-Oost, running either 8 or 15 kilometres. The event is part of the 'Mokums Rondje' running series and continues to grow each year, with around 950 runners taking part this year. The course was a mix of urban and green surroundings, taking the runners along the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal.
A very HIGHlight was crossing the Nesciobrug twice, a 780-metre-long cycling and pedestrian bridge spanning the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal, and one of the longest pedestrian/cycling bridges in the Netherlands.
Conditions were close to perfect: around 12°C with light cloud cover, ideal for running. Everyone put in a strong performance, with solid times.
